Cool Releaseing or Whitlisting SPAM

I'm a newbie at astaro and just set one up in my home server for testing purposes, so I'm using the free home version. I have it setup as a router.
Everything seems to be functioning properly, although I'm unable to release or whitelist spam from the quarantine reports I receive. I'm sure it has something to do with the link that it's following as it can't find it, not sure if I have to open any ports or anything on the astaro box?? (I'm running sbs 2008 behind the astaro box at home, shouldn't really matter though....)

I'm fully able to access the webadmin from the outside with no issues with https://astaro.domain.com:4444 but the link for releasing the messages goes to http://astaro.domain.com:3840/..........

Is that an issue that it's not https?? and do i need to create some kind of rule for port 3840??

Thanks in advance....

Have I posted this in the wrong forum? Or does no one know anything about this issue?

I have been unable to release email marked as spam myself. I just posted this over in the beta forum, since I am testing the beta. I am not sure it is an issue or a user error.

C68, I quoted frickler's suggestions on your thread. djws is likely using SMTP instead of POP3.

djws, I haven't heard of this before, so it's likely that you have a creative misconfiguration Can you show us the 'Advanced' tab of 'Quarantine Report'? And, the 'Hostname' tab of 'Management >> System Settings'?

Cheers - Bob

BAlfson - Thanks!
I added my mailserver to the POP3 list and I can now release email that came in after that change.
