Default 2 DSL connections for VPN and Astaro management
I've looked through the forums at various different ideas policy routing, multipath, bridging etc and I'm now getting confused.

The hardware Astaro 220 with 7.403

The problem/requirement In order to improve redundancy as well as give me an alternative route when the main DSL goes down I have an additional DSL I want to be able to use this to access the Astaro WebAdmin as well as an alternative vpn route for users.

I decided the 'proper' way was using Uplink Balancing setup as Multipath with the 2 External Interfaces specified. I then set up a Multipath rule with

Source Any Service VPN Protocols Destination Internal Network and itf persistence by connection

That is as far as I have got at this moment. now the questions.

Is this the 'correct' method to get the solution I seek?

Have I missed anything or should this now work. I'm thinking I need to do something for the WebAdmin to get access via this method.

Does everything still function correctly when you disconnect the first DSL line?
