Default enable network card from SSH

Hi,

I have accidentally disabled eth0 (internal) in webadmin (Network / Interfaces) ... is there any way to re enable it from shell.

(I tryed to restart the router, but the card didn't came up)

Thank you!

I'm sure there are. You also could restore a recent backup. Put an unencrypted backup on a USB memory key. Reboot the Astaro device with the USB key in place, and the Astaro will restore from the file on the key.

You also might consider adding an IP to 'Allowed networks' that can access WebAdmin via the External interface.

Thanks for your tip ...

unfortunatly I've just installed a fresh version and I didn't backup it yet.
I'll try to figure out how to add another IP to the list.

(Astaro should consider to add a safety feature to disable the option to disconnect the only card from which you have the access to webadmin)

Run
ifconfig eth0
to see status.

If it says "down" anywhere then try
ifconfig eth0 up

I know virtually zip about linux, so let's hope one of the local gurus shows up.

Thanks, khardeveld, good job!

I've copied Angelo's instructions into my "notebook" of Astaro tricks.
