Default Multiple IP address on interface

Hello,

I've got an SDSL access with several public IP addresses.
It appears that it's not possible to attribute more than one IP @ to my external interface.
Error message : "additional address only for standard Ethernet or VLAN interface...", although my interface is set as a standard one. And a VLAN one requires a tag, which is irrelevant for the Internet access router in this case.
Thanks for help or suggestions.

JMD.

Is your external interface configured as a Standard Ethernet Interface? I suspect it may be configured as a PPPoE interface which is common for DSL setups.

Default I've founded...

Hi Drees,

No it's configured as a standard Ethernet interface. In the meanwhile, I've founded how to do that. I created another interface (name, @IP) matched up with the same hardware, and that's OK.
