Default Is this possible?

I'm a real rookie at this stuff, so before I blow hours trying to figure it out, I thought I'd ask first...

I want to re-route traffic initially destined to one host to another. Here's the situation:

We've switched email providers. The new email accounts use the same login credentials, so rather than touching every workstation, I'd like to reroute traffic destined to the old smtp server to the new one for sending mail.

I'm thinking a SNAT rule is the way to go...but would like some confirmation.

Thanks,
Grant

Hi Grant,

Rather than an SNAT rule I would suggest a DNAT as you really want to change the destination requested and not the source which should still be your internal network.

Or maybe both, then again, if you're using Mail Security, there's a different answer. If so, are you using the POP3 or SMTP Proxy? Version of Astaro?
