Default some pages are blockt
When I connect directly to the internet, i can´t open some pages,
e.g. microsoft.de and in the last 3 days google.de. I get the mmessage: www.google.de konnte nicht gefunden werden.Überprüfen Sie den Namen und wiederholen Sie den Vorgang. When I set my internet options to "manuelle Proxy-Konfiguration" I can see the pages. What can i do?
I use Mozilla 1.5 and IE 5.5 .

I have no problem to open the webpage you say in here. Maybe it´s down sometimes or something.

Make sure your are using a DNS.
Try to connect to "www.gmx.de". Is this page one of the one that are not working? If yes, it could be a problem related to MTU. Reduce the MTU to 1450 or lower on your workstation.

What kind of internetconnection are you using?

Please precisely describe how you are setting your "Internet Options"; in Astaro?

Are you using Astaro's proxy or not?

Have you checked for errors on your NICs? (ifconfig)

Do you go to nslookup when this happens and see if you can resolve that web address? (i.e., are you checking to see if it's your DNS server dropping out...)
