Hallo,

only a short question.
Is it possible to use ssl-vpn against Microsoft-ADS-Logins?
I know that astaro supports several auth-backands but are all working with ssl-vpn?

Try to drag an AD-Authorized backend group into 'Users and Groups' in 'Remote Access >> SSL'. Try to do the same in 'L2TP over IPsec'.

One works. One doesn't.

That feature has been suggested. You can vote for it: Authentication: Remote Group Membership for Remote Access and Packetfilter

Yes, of course!

All backends are supported (ok, not true for Apple OpenDirectory which only works for HTTP-Proxy SSO)
