Unhappy Can't log onto Astaro

I think I may have in-advertently set surf protection to "block all sites unless they are defined" and now I am locked out of Astaro. When I try to log on, it bypasses the SSL screen and displays the following accompanyed by the Astaro logo.

Astaro Security Gateway Version 7 http://www.astaro.com
<table c

I even have trouble getting this far. 4 out of 5 times I will just get a browser timeout.
Online browsing is very un-predictable. Sometimes every site is blocked with the message "The URL you have requested is blocked by surf protection". Other times, some sites are allowed, others are not. There does not seem to be any predictability or pattern to it.

I am out of ideas. I can always re-install, but I just know this will turn into many, many hours which I just can't afford.

Help !!!

Turn off the proxy in your browser, and connect to the internal IP.
