Default Http Proxy Crash

Version 7.403

While trying to figure out a way to block objectionalble content from the family Wii, the HTTP proxy crashed...I think.

Popup windows contained the following messages.

Here is what it did:

Web Security:
Global Tab:
Can't use string ("0") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /PerlApp/wfe/asg/modules/asg_http.pm line 1789.
undefined (top left coner under tab)

AV Tab:
Can't use string ("0") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /PerlApp/wfe/asg/modules/asg_http.pm line 1954.

Content Filter Tab:
Can't use string ("0") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at /PerlApp/wfe/asg/modules/asg_http.pm line 2141.

A factory reset cured the problem (so far...)

I tried to create a HTTP profile for the Wii device that would only block specific objectionable content. But I could no longer access the internet with the Wii afterwards. I deleted the item that I had created. When I returned to the Global tab I was met with the messages listed above. Did I move too fast when creating and deleting the items?

What caused to error?

Has anyone figured out a way to allow a Wii to have intenet access while blocking objectionable content?

Thanks,

Jim

Default

Ok, I figured it out...

The network must be in the Global Http/S settings Allowed Networks window. All rules apply to all networks there.

In the HTTP/S Profiles area one makes a profile for that particular network, then use tranparent. Then make a Filter Action. Here is where it gets a little confusing at first...

The filter "Allow or Block by default" refers back to the Global settings. Seems opposite from what it should be, but that is how it works. In the new Filter Action, one needs to ALLOW everything except that which one wants to block. You see, it is already blocked in Global (if it is). So basicly one is allowing content catagories with "block by default".

I still do not know what I did to crash the proxy?
