Default Blocking Sites w/o Web-Security

Hi there,

we just upgraded to V7.x here and I am wondering why it isn't working anymore to block single URLs w/o a Web-Security license. A license for the powerful category-oriented system is a sure thing but now I am not able to block incidents on websites asap anymore. Any hints? That would be a very sad thing.

Yes, that would be a feature request now.

It seems like you could achieve the same thing with IPs in the transparent mode skiplist with the 'Allow HTTP traffic for listed hosts/nets' box unchecked. If you are presently using that to allow access to some hosts, you can create a packet filter rule allowing the traffic for those hosts that should not be blocked.

Cheers - Bob
