Hello, I am trying to block MSN messenger by user or user IP.

welcome to the forum

You can achieve this by going to : IM/P2P>>Instant Messaging (IM) select block MSN Messenger and on the exception tab allow the users that you want to use MSN

thanks for the quick reply.

On the exceptions list do I create a group or individual users. Also where do I add the ip of the machine in the source networks.

also If I wanted to limit youtube to certain users how do I do that. right now I have it all blocked.
