Question IP used by several servers

What does following message mean:

IP-Address www.***.yyy.zzz is used by several POP3 Servers, please check your settings!

It seems that gmx uses this ip (but have server domain-endings => .net, .ch)

It sound like you are using an IP address which hosts several email domains, have you tried using the FQDN for the POP3 server for your domain ?

GMX uses this IP and hosts several domains (gmx.net, .ch, .at and so on).
I'm getting mails for gmx.ch and gmx.net, so I've set pop.gmx.net and pop.gmx.ch for
prefecht.

I assume this causes this message, but what now? Just ignore?
