Question [6.915] UDP Packages dropped after PPPOE reconnect

I am using an PPPOE connection with a static IP Adress.

Behind my Firewall is an Asteriskbox using IAX Connections and SIP Connections to my VOIP Providers. Often when the PPPOE connection dies (my provider disconncts my all 24 hours) the box cannot register at the voip providers anymore.

For all providers regardless of using SIP or IAX the UDP Protocoll is used. It seems that the packages which are sent by my Asterisk box are dropped silently.
It also seems that the packe dropping is not happening always after reconnect, but know i am really shure taht it happens, if an udp-package is send while the interface is down.

If i unload the iax-protocoll on the asterisk for aprox 3 Minutes to stop sending UDP Packages to the provider an load it again, registration is possible again.

Maybe the Masquerading or connectiontracking causes some trouble here ?!

For the sip provider i waited up to 1 Minutes, but an registration was only possible after rebooting the firewall. I'm using the built in sip support.

Jepp, still the same in V 7.001

Mainwhile i amm sure that the problem occurs, because the conntrack is not cleared after an PPPOE reconnect.

But this issue is also with other linux enabled router or firewall devices and not only Astaro specific. Clearing the ip-conntrack table (via script) after pppoe-reconnect might solve this issue.
