Default [7.450][BUG][CONFIRMED] Transparent mode Skiplist

No matter what i do, add, delete or defining an new item in the Transparent mode skiplist under Web Security I get an error message when saving the changes. "One of the values you entered is syntactically or logically incorrect."
The list is imported from backup.

I am having the same problem, there is no way I can modify the "Transparent mode skiplist".

FYI, existing lists of hosts in the list were imported from old 7.4 config backup.

Really appreciated if someone can figure out a fix.

I have the same problem, so I think Mikael has discovered a bug.

I tested working with skip list on a new beta machine so there is no old entries. Adding a newly defined internal host into the list and removing it both works.

I think the problem is with importing of old config.

That's interesting, Claude. I had nothing in the skiplist, and was unable to add anything. I have ASG220v1 512MB and a PC running IE 7.0.6001.18000 under Vista Pro SP1; what about you?

Cheers - Bob

Hi Bob,

My earlier test was with winxp sp3 on FF3.010. the instance of Astaro was a fresh install on a symantec 1660 hardware appliance.

I just tested using the same machine with IE8 and it was successful. I don't have IE7.

I also tested on Mac OSX running FF3 and confirm it is working.

I think the issue is more of imported internal hosts not being properly imported since in my case it is a fresh install and working with newly created internal hosts.

regards.

Claude

Does anyone have a working way to reproduce this since we cannot reproduce this here.

Thanks in advance!

I'm having exactly the same problem in 7.460.

I started with 7.403, where I was *not* using the skiplist and had nothing in it. In fact, I was not even using the HTTP Proxy under 7.403. (I had used it for a while, but turned it off when it starting causing problems that I didn't have time to troubleshoot.)

For the beta, I did a fresh install of the original 7.5 beta (v 7.450?), then restored settings from my last backup of 7.403. Rebooted. Updated ASG to 7.460 via Up2Date. Rebooted again.

Turned on the HTTP proxy and set it to Transparent mode. Confirmed that it was still blocking my TiVos from getting their daily programming update. So I thought I'd add the TiVos to the skip list. I tried, and that's when I hit the error message "One of the values you entered is syntactically or logically incorrect."

Have the same here in 7.460. List is empty and I can't add any entries to the list.
