Default [7.450] BUG: Random Interface Shutdown / Unresponsive

Hello all.

Running the latest beta ASG and have discovered a little problem.

Have had 4 occations where the ASG has stoped routing trafic thorugh the wan connection. The failover connection does not activate and there is no indication of an interface problem on the dashboard.

When this happens any packets sent to the wan just time out. This happens with the web proxy on or off. Today the failure was arround 4.30 pm. If the wan interface is disabled from the dashboard so the failover kicks in and then re-enabled then all trafic flows again until the next lock up.

During the lock up period everything looks normal. No errors on the dashboard and all parts of web admin work with no issues.

I dont have that much log data as I cleared them recently but this is what I have at the moment.

Hope its of some help.

Otherwise for the web proxy problems with images on the tread I started last week and the listed bugs I cant find anything else wrong. I must say for a Beta it has very few bugs and those it does have are mostly cosmetic.

Keep up the good work Astaro

Stuart.

Hi,
Are you using DHCP or PPPoE on your WAN and failover connections?

Sorry I forgot to add that info.

All interfaces are static ip and ethernet standard type. I dont use dhcp at all in my setup. Internet connections are using bridged routers so interface ip's are my public ip's
