Default [7.450][BUG][OPEN] SMTP Relay with authentication for limited Backend Group

Hi,

I tried to enable authenticated relay.
There is a User "testuser". He has authenticated through User Portal. When I am using this Object, authenticated relay is working.

This user is a member of Active Directory Group smtp_relay. There is a Astaro Group (SMTP_RELAY) limited to smtp_relay AD Group. When I am using this group authenticated relay is not working.

Maygyver, Can you show a picture of the User definition? Also of the Group definition?

Have you BATV activated?
If yes, can you please temporarily disable it and try again? Thanks.

Maygyver, your problem is that the group definition is faulty. This is a well-known anomaly. Edit the group definition, delete the AD group and save. Edit again, add the AD group and BEFORE you save, double-click the AD group definition and delete everything but mailgw_smtp_relay.

Let us know if that resolves your issue.

NO BUG:

Was a rights Problem. The AD User establishing the connection from Astaro to Active Directory had not enough rights.

Test Buttons replied everything seems to be OK. May be it is a good idea to check rights and report it when hitting Test Buttons.
