hi scott did you ad port 4444 to the allowed proxy services in the advanced tab? Is maybe the Mac in another network range like your PC?

Are you referring to adding port 4444 in the advanced tab in Firefox? I have port 8080 setup in firefox proxy field because this is the port I have setup for the proxy, but I don't see where I can add 4444 anywhere. I think it's an issue with the beta because when I installed the beta, I just restored the system from a backup I created in the non-beta version. I didn't have this problem before the beta.

I did figure out something that solved the problem, but I don't know if it's the right approach, or just a work-around. In Firefox advance tab > connection settings there is a field called "No Proxy For:" and it's default is:
localhost, 127.0.0.1

I added the IP of Astaro and now I can get to the Astaro webadmin. I never needed to do this before.

My Mac and PC are on the same subnet. The difference is I have the mac in the transparent mode skiplist.

it was a bug itself that you was able to reach the webadmin through the proxy without adding the external ip of your astaro to the allowed networks. If you browse the webadmin through the proxy your client ip will be changed to the external adress. This is the cause why it'S not working anymore without adding the adress
