[7.460][BUG][CONFIRMED] transparent proxy with authentication. Login suddenly stops working on one computer

My wife tried to log on the transparent proxy with authentication. After typing in her credentials and acepting the terms of use, a blank page was loaded and she was not log on the proxy.

After restarting the proxy she could log on again.
This issue was limited to her Computer. Mac OS X 10.5.7 Safari 4.0 (5530.17)

All other Computers (macs and pcs) did not show the behaviour.

Hi Agadoo,

does this issue also occur with 7.460 and Firefox or only with Safari browser?

My wife doesn't use Firefox, so i could only test this with Safari.

Hi Agadoo,

I just checked it with safari (beta)5528.17 and it worked only for me when I activated 'terms of use' in Management » Customization » HTTP/S Proxy.
Otherwise a info box is displayed all the time that I have to accept the terms of use, even if there are no t.o.u. entered.
Is this the same behaviour on your machine?

Hi,

I know that there is a bug, if the terms of use are missing.
This issue is different, isn't it.

The proxy tries to load a file, that is sometimes missing on the server.
