Default ASG 7.500 Beta License

Hi there all,

as this Beta is a bit longer than ususal and the first tester report that their license is running out, here is what you can do:

a) use your homeuse license
this is fully legal and you can use it. Most of you might have done this implicitly by restoring a backup

b) reinstall fresh - use 30 day trial
if you need to reinstall anyway, you get a new 30 day trial license you can play with.

c) use one of the attached 7.5 beta license
they will run until August 10th

thank you for testing,
regards
Gert

Does that mean that beta will be ongoing until August the 10th?

No, it just means that if the beta will go until August 10th, this license can be used
There is currently no fixed schedule when the beta ends. Basically it ends if most if not all bugs are fixed.

Utm,

At this point, we're still analyzing your feedback (excellent from everyone) alone with adjustments from the results of our own tests in the Astaro Lab. The moment we have a new build we feel is worth everyone's time to pull apart again, we'll let you have at it!

We will try not to keep you waiting...

Angelo,

Please also release simultaneously a document showing which bugs have/ have not been addressed in the new beta. I can't imagine that that information is unavailable. I bet that others, like I do, have a certain sense of "ownership" for the bugs we've found, and will want to hammer at solutions to them. In the last release, I got burned out after I spent several hours testing only to find that the Astaro team had so little respect for my time.

Another solution would be to change status from [CONFIRMED] to [FIXED] only when the fix is tagged for inclusion in the next release.

Cheers - Bob

Gert,

The beta licenses you posted expire next week. Will you be uploading new ones?
