Default [7.450][BUG][OPEN] Dlink Quad NIC not recognized

Hi board,

as I found out installing the above beta, that inspite of my "real" version, my Dlink-Quad-Card ("DLink 4-Port Server Card") is not available for ASL.

Can anyone confirm this fact?

Cheers and thanks
Marcus

Hi Marcus,

this card is not listed on our HCL. This means that we have no driver in our kernel to support the Quad Port card. Could you maybe run a hardware script on your installation or does the installation stops? I can send the mentioned script via PM to you. If we get the output of the script I can forward it to our QA to check if we have a possibility to support it or not.

Greetings
Andreas

The D-Link 4 port card lists as the following under v7405. If this is not supported under the 7.5 release we will have about 5 servers we need to change the NICs, an expensive process if we have to move to Intel 4 port cards. Any clarification appreciated. Don't want to be surprised on the changeover!
