Default [7.460] Time Zone

Being late to the 7.5 beta I quickly installed 7.460 this afternoon. During the install I could not see Europe/London when setting location so plumped for Casablanca expecting my restored config to correct my Time Zone. Either the Time Zone is not contained in the 7.403 backup or 7.460 ignores it.

The fact that you can't see your correct time zone is probably a bug; however, I can attest that restoring a backup does not, and never has, updated the time zone of an Astaro installation (older versions included)... I've always had to set that properly during an install, or change it manually to match. It is interesting that you don't have the option to choose the correct time zone, though.

I should also mention that the loginuser and root passwords are also not stored in the backup; you have to reset these manually via Webadmin after a fresh install or reload.

Actually ASG will save your timezone in the backup starting with 7.500. But it is not contained in older backups, that's correct.

Good to know; that was a bit of an annoyance, truth be told... the loginuser and root passwords still aren't stored in the backup file though, right (for recovery purposes, like when someone resets the loginuser and root passwords and forgets them)?
