Default [1.900] Device already connected [CHECKING]

I've tried to connect an ASG 7.302 (Software) to an ACC 1.9. This is what I get:

Critical: Request failed: 10409 - "conflict, device is already connected".

ACC was a new install (ESX VM), other ASGs were able to connect.

What should I do?

Thanks...

Hi,

sorry for the delay.

The problem is that another device with the same ID was or is connected to the ACC. This might happen if you split up a HA or Cluster and try to connect the newly resulting stand-alone systems. The first system with the same ID wins.

You can do the following:

Open a console on the device which is not allowed to connect and remove the file /etc/guid. Then restart the nextgen-agent:

Code:
# rm -f /etc/guid
# /var/mdw/scripts/nextgen-agent restart
Cheers,
Henning
