Question [1.401] license does not permit up2date
hi

i'm running ACC 1.401 in vmware and used the image supplied by Astaro. When i try to prefetch up2dates i get the following error in /var/log/up2date.log

I always thought that ACC is free to use !? Is there a way to fix it !?

Hello,

there is no need to fix it. You can still use ACC 1.401 as long as you like - it still is free, but deprecated. Hence, there are no new Up2Dates or Support anymore. The included license has expired because the product has reached its end of life.

The old ACC V1.4 has been superseded by ACC V1.9 which provides better stability, higher scalability, increased performance and new features. Best thing, ACC V1.9 is also free of charge. You can manage all your Gateway Products V7.3 or higher with it. You can still manage your previous ASG V6.x devices with ACC V1.4 if you like.
