Default HA/Cluster nodes reported as down

I am getting an error message on one of my ASG's that says number of active nodes below 62.50%...

What does this exactly mean?

You get the message when you have e.g.your ASG running in a cluster and some of the notes are down, e.g. if you have 2 nodes in your cluster and one is down you will get the message.

Is this system a cluster/ha? If so by bringing the node that is down back to work.

Actually, this is a warning you should take seriously - please check your Cluster nodes for any malfunctioning systems. It is not about getting rid off the message but correcting the problem which ACC reports.

it says that they are unlinked, what is the proper procedure to get the ASG's linked together again?

James, I just saw, for th first time, the following (probably been there the entire time):

The backup interface for HA does NOT allow the Master to continue to use the slave; all it does is prevent having two masters... it is heartbeat only.

PS Is there any reason one can't aggregate two interfaces for the HA connection?

Gents,

please post your HA/Cluster related questions in the respective ASG forum. ACC is just reporting the status but does not in any way influence whether nodes become unlinked.

Thanks and regards,
Henning
