Default Manually upload Up2Date packages?

Is it possible manually to upload Up2Date packages into the ACC cache?

There is a problem with manual upload of 100MB+ Up2Dates into Astaro units with only 512MB of ram. I thought it might be worth setting up ACC if I could resolve that issue by pointing the ASG auto-update at an ACC.

Thanks - Bob

Hi Bob,

at the moment manual insertion into the ACC Up2Date Cache is not directly possible. The ACC Up2Date Cache acts as kind of an intelligent proxy, but does not prefetch anything itself. It needs to be "provoked" by requesting ASG devices.

Here is an example setup:
  • Allow the ACC Up2Date Cache to access the Astaro Up2Date Servers (Port 80 and 443)
  • Configure your ASGs to use the ACC Up2Date Cache to prefetch Up2Dates
Please come back to us if we can further clarify the possibilities.

Cheers,
Henning
