Default [2.100] License ov ASG device expired

Last week i activated a new license (old license model)

Now ACC shows that the license of the device is expired. After looking into the license details on the ACC i saw that it is the StandardSupport that is expired. But isn't that only used on the new license model??

Hi,

basically ACC does not interpret or analyse subscriptions based on different license models. If the license contains weird or outdated subscriptions, ACC has no knowledge whatsoever whether these aspects are to be considered or not.

Nevertheless, either the license actually contains an outdated StandardSupport subscription entry (which it should not as it is a legacy/old license) or the Confd on the Gateway is re-interpreting some aspects of the license in a mapping effort from old to new.

We would like to look into this matter. Hence, it would be great if you could supply us with the license and/or a dump of the following command from the respective ASG:

# cc get_license_info

You can send the command output and your license to acc-support@astaro.com (please do not post your license info here in the forum).

Thanks and regards,
Henning

Hi,

thanks for supplying the requested info.

Your license indeed contains the StandardSupport subscription, although it is completely useless for the legacy-style license.

We are going to check whether Confd should filter this out or if you need to have your license stripped of that particular subscription.

Please stay tuned.

Thanks,
Henning

AFAIK, your license has been adjusted and the faulty subscription has been removed.
