Default Error installing ASC 9.0 on Vista Buisness 64bit

Problem installing ASC 9.0 on Vista Buisness 64bit? XP Professional 32bit works fine...

The message I get during the installation isError-The Astaro Secure Client LAN driver could not be installed. Reboot your PC and run Setup again !)

Update:
Support got back to me on the problem I am having.

NCP which creates/maintains the ASC client side, had a scheduled release end of Jan 2008 that will be required to get ASC 9.0 to work on Vista machines. It was a vista patch that broke the ASC / so QA is playing catch up here. We did receive a temporary 'patch' from NCP but according to what I see in our QA, it was insufficient to resolve the problem correctly, and they are waiting for more feedback from NCP.

Short answer, it doesnt work with Vista 64bit.

Long answer, if you google "Open VPN" and download the latest beta it works, (overwrite files the astaro install uses).

I have not done this myself but a programmer here in the office claims it works for him to resolve the problem.
(Astaro use a hacked OpenVPN for their solution).

Astaro Secure Client 9.01 works just fine on my fully patched Vista 32Bit system (Business Version)... I don't think they support 64-bit yet.

I don't seem to be able to download version 9.01.
When I download from ftp ASC_V9.0.exe shows version 9.00.333 which is ver 9.00 build 30. Where can I download version 9.01?

When you connect to the End-User Portal, click the link for downloading the ASC client... you'll get the "ASC-latest" download, which, the last time I downloaded it, was 9.01.

That's interesting... I tried it again, using the link as provided in the End User Portal on my ASG, running version 7.101 .. the resulting download (I think from an ftp server in Germany), ASC_latest.exe, is version 9.01, build 45. I just confirmed it; tried it from my home ASG to confirm.
