Default Problem with ASC and Win 7

Hi,

when I try to connect to our network via ASC I get the following error message: "Client Error: No User Certificate loaded"
With Windows Vista the workaround was to set in the profile settings > Identity the setting "Certificate Configuration" from "None" to "Standard"

Now with Windows 7 (64bit) and ASC Version 9.20 Build 35 I get the following error when I try to change this setting:
"List index out of bounds (0)"

Any Ideas?

Thanks,
M

Hello,

if have the same problem as Michael. In Astaro Secure Client Version 9.20 Built 35 on Windows 7 (64 bit) I want to assign a Certificate to the Profile. When I save the Profile the error "List index out of bounds (0)" appears.

Is there a solution for this problem?

kind regards

Hartmut

Default Problem not related to 64-Bit but Windows 7

Workaround for the Certification problem:

1) Prerequisite:
- downloaded ini file from the user portal
- downloaded cert file from the user portal

2) Add under [PROFILE] the line
PkiConfig={Your Certification name}

3) Add at the end
[CERTIFICATE1]
CertReader=
CertPort=0
CertType=2
CertP12File={the location of your certificate}
CertNr=1
CertP11Modul=
CertPinQuest=1
CertCspName=
CertCspIssuer=
CertEntFile=
CertEntSSO=0
CertPinLen=6
CertPinOnlyNum=0
CertPinNoAlpha=0
CertPinUpper=0
CertPinLower=0
CertPinNum=0
CertPinRepeat=0
CertEntLocks=0
CertNoDiscon=0
CertActWarn=1
CertActExt=0
CertExtDays=30
CertWarnDays=30
CertP12Select=1
CertP12Path=
CertP11Slot=0
CertExtPkiDll=
CertNoCaPath=0
CertHwType=0
CertHwP12File=
CertHwCspName=
CertHwCspIssuer=
CertHwEntFile=
CertName={Your Certification name}

4) connect;
