Hi,
I was searching for some old posts of mine, and noticed that some of the VERY OLD ones are (incorrectly) in the v7.0 beta archive/closed forum, e.g.

http://www.astaro.org/closed-forums-...ken-1-9-a.html

This was from 2001.

This may not be a major problem, but is confusing.

Barry

Thanks, Barry. While we're opining on the functionality of the board...

Sometimes when writing a post, I need some information from another post. It's a pain to have to copy the text to notepad so that I don't heave to re-enter it when I come back to the page. Perhaps my following "trick" could stimulate future choices in the way this board works...

I use the Google toolbar in IE, so when I want to search the User BB, I avoid the use of the search function here and use Google. Not only does that allow me to use "rout" to search for "route" and "routes" and "routing," it also let's me use "-http" so I avoid threads that I know I don't need. As a bonus, I get to stay where I am in the User BB so I don't have to copy and paste to avoid losing my work.

Cheers - Bob

Interesting. I don't know if VBulletin supports Stemming, but if it does that would reduce the need to use Google to search for terms like that.

I use tabs in the browser to navigate multiple messages; middle click on Astaro logo gets you another tab quickly.
